Overview

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at CORALVITA, you’ll provide essential hands-on support that helps patients feel safe, cared for, and valued throughout their recovery. Working under the supervision of licensed nurses, you’ll assist with daily care, monitor vital signs, and ensure every patient experience reflects our commitment to compassion and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and meals
  • Measure and record vital signs, input/output, and other key health indicators
  • Support nurses and physicians during procedures, transports, and treatments
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient environments
  • Observe and report any changes in patient condition promptly to the nursing team
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families during recovery
  • Uphold infection control and safety standards throughout all patient interactions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Patient Care Technician training preferred
  • BLS certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Prior experience in acute care, LTACH, or rehabilitation settings preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
