Overview

As an Admissions Coordinator at CORALVITA, you will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and referral partners. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and compassionate transition into our hospital. You’ll guide families through the admissions process, coordinate insurance verification, and collaborate with clinical staff to prepare for each new patient’s arrival.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for patients, families, and referral sources during the admissions process
  • Coordinate pre-admission assessments, insurance authorizations, and required documentation
  • Communicate closely with physicians, case managers, and nursing staff to ensure seamless transitions
  • Provide families with information about our services, pathways, and next steps
  • Maintain accurate admission records and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies
  • Represent CORALVITA with professionalism and compassion in every interaction

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience in healthcare admissions, case management, or patient services strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of insurance processes and post-acute care a plus
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
