Overview

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at CORALVITA, you’ll play an essential role in delivering hands-on, patient-centered care in a collaborative long-term acute care environment. Working closely with RNs and the interdisciplinary team, you’ll support complex medical care, promote recovery, and bring comfort and consistency to patients and families every day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct bedside care under the supervision of an RN and in accordance with physician orders and clinical standards
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with treatments and procedures
  • Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition promptly to the RN or physician
  • Support patients with mobility, hygiene, wound care, and daily living needs
  • Foster a safe and compassionate environment that encourages healing and dignity
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other care professionals to execute individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families on recovery routines, medication adherence, and wellness practices

Qualifications

  • Active LVN license in the state of practice
  • 1+ year of acute care, LTACH, or rehabilitation experience preferred
  • Current BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
  • Strong clinical observation, documentation, and communication skills
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic, multidisciplinary care environment
