Overview

As an ICU Registered Nurse at CORALVITA, you’ll deliver expert, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Our ICU RNs play a vital role in stabilizing, monitoring, and supporting patients through complex medical challenges—combining advanced clinical skill with empathy and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous assessment, monitoring, and management of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
  • Administer medications, ventilator support, infusions, and life-sustaining treatments according to physician orders and ICU protocols
  • Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions with strong clinical judgment and calm under pressure
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver optimal care
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding progress and care plans
  • Participate in code and rapid response situations, following established emergency protocols
  • Support infection control, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives within the ICU

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • 2+ years of ICU or critical care experience preferred (LTACH or step-down experience also considered)
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to remain composed and focused in high-stress, fast-paced environments
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
