Overview

As a Physical Therapist at CORALVITA, you will help patients rebuild strength, mobility, and independence after serious illness or injury. You’ll work with patients recovering from neurological conditions, cardiac and pulmonary challenges, or prolonged hospital stays, tailoring therapy plans to maximize outcomes. Your expertise will directly influence a patient’s ability to return to daily life with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations of strength, balance, mobility, and endurance
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and medical needs
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions including gait training, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility practice
  • Collaborate with occupational and speech therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure integrated care
  • Document patient progress, adjust therapy plans, and communicate updates with families and the care team
  • Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies to continue progress beyond the hospital

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree required
  • Active state PT license in good standing
  • 1+ years of acute care, inpatient rehab, or LTACH experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
